With the Raspberry Pi 4 revision of the Flirc Case, not much has changed it is still the same look that I like just with slightly different port openings. I would like to see a black on black option that does not have the Kodi logo plastered all over it but that might just be me. I find the silver metal body against the matte black plastic to be a look that is clean and elegant. I have always been a fan of the design of the Flirc Case across all revisions of it with the only exception being the Kodi versions as I find them just too flashy for me. NO access to camera and display connectors.
No access to GPIO without adding an extra ribbon cable. Let’s take a look and see how the Flirc Raspberry Pi 4 Case performs. Flirc delivered first and now it was set in stone that I would be reviewing the Flirc Raspberry Pi 4 Case. I then went in search of cases for the Raspberry Pi 4 and saw that both Flirc and Argon40 had pre-orders available. I had initially started jotting down ideas for this review while writing the review of the Argon One because it seemed like I was going to be sunsetting my use of the Flirc case in favor of the Argon One and then the Raspberry Pi Foundation turned my world upside down by releasing the Raspberry Pi 4. I know it sounds strange but until then the Flirc case was my goto case for all of my Raspberry Pi projects. My look at the Flirc Raspberry Pi 4 Case actually started with the Argon One Case I recently reviewed for the Raspberry Pi 3. I have always been a fan of the look and thermal performance of the Flirc line of cases and was happy to see the release of the Flirc Raspberry Pi 4 Case. Flirc has long made arguably one of the most popular cases for the Raspberry Pi that offers some cooling advantages. The need for cooling, however, is no stranger to the Raspberry Pi and has been something that people have been doing since the first Raspberry Pi. 
By now everyone knows that the Raspberry Pi 4 runs hot and that dealing with this heat is very important as heat is detrimental to electronics.
